Eligible Applicants
Eligible primary applicants include school districts, school boards, law enforcement agencies, states, local governments, Indian tribes, and other qualifying public agencies. Individual schools and private schools are not eligible to apply as primary applicants.
Eligible Security & Technology Improvements
▪ Access control doors and door locking mechanisms
▪ Entry control equipment
▪ Security cameras and video systems
▪ School site alarm and protection systems
▪ Panic and immediate alarm notification systems
▪ Intercom or public address systems
▪ Emergency communication tools, including two-way radios
▪ Visitor management systems, exterior lighting, and school safety assessments
